Place orders for raw material and finished goods based on forecast demand to meet customer requirements. Manage all suppliers with yearly risk assessments and self surveys. Focus on cost savings and cost avoidance. Responsible for all purchasing and Supplier SOP’s along with Supplier Score Card. • Current commodities: Finished Goods and raw material from 8 factories in China and Netherlands. Corrugate for 2 manufacturing plants (Sarasota FL and Juarez MX), plastic injection molding, plastic thermoform molding, printed stickers, cores, shrink wrap, banding, and MRO. While maintaining cost, on time delivery and logistics.• Sourced new suppliers to support new first aid kit project. • Set up recycle program for plastics and corrugate.• Completed negotiations for 66K savings on 4 year copier contract.• Team member for Process Improvement and Scrap Reduction Team.• Trained and supported 2 summer interns.
