Growing up in the vibrant multicultural city of Miami, spending significant periods of my life with my family in Austria, and studying abroad in Costa Rica and Spain, my childhood was an odyssey of cultural immersion. At the age of 7, my first solo trip abroad ignited a lifelong love affair with exploration and adventure.Fueled by an insatiable curiosity, I've journeyed across continents, embracing diverse cultures, traditions, and perspectives along the way. From serving vulnerable patients on a mission trip in Nicaragua to visiting an orphanage in Thailand, each experience enriched my journey. Summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro was the pinnacle of my adventures, marking the ultimate achievement of being on top of the world. Each encounter has not only broadened my horizons but also deepened my appreciation for the rich tapestry of humanity.This passion for connectivity extends beyond mere curiosity; it's woven into the fabric of my career. My professional path began in emergency medicine as a paramedic before advancing to become a Physician Assistant, where I've cultivated expertise spanning various medical disciplines. From general hospital medicine to cardiothoracic surgery, heart/lung transplant, cardiology, telehealth, integrative medicine, and primary care, I've cherished the opportunity to forge meaningful connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds – whether they were patients under my care or colleagues within my work team. My ability to communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly has been integral to my success.The same meticulous organizational skills I’ve utilized to plan and execute adventure travels, I incorporate into my daily routines. My proclivity for organization has allowed me to streamline processes and maximize efficiency in my roles not only as a healthcare professional but as an educator and mentor, ensuring that I not only impart knowledge effectively but also provide invaluable guidance and support.My convictions are driven by the foundational belief that harmony is built upon empathy, understanding and transparency.
