I really enjoyed working with my colleagues at Amway Corporation. Many of us had Industrial/Organizational Psychology Master's Degrees and were active in our local Chapter of ISPI (International Society of Perfromance Improvement). We used a Systems Approach to performance problems and there was a lot of team and collaborative work between employees of the Human Resources Development Department and external consultants, like me. I adapted training to suit the needs of specific departments and would often deliver the training. I was involved with some development of training and eventually filled a niche of evaluation of training and performance interventions.
