Under the general direction of the Claims Data Operations Manager, performs a variety of operational support services to the Claim Department, it's business partners and it's clients related to the handling of returned checks, processing of refunds, escheatment review, paying of invoices and fees, an analysis of Control request.

•Transfer all new loan sales before the cutoff at the correct UPB, service fee and investor loan number•Prepare any manual reports required by the investor guidelines•Ensure all remittances are made on contractual due date•Ensure all reports are sent by contractual due date•Review exception reports and clear/resolve items timely•For Scheduled/Scheduled investor, ensure that the loan/pool level security balances, test of expected P&I, and cashbook reports are properly maintained•For Scheduled/Actual investor, ensure that the test of expected P&I and cashbook reports are properly maintained.•Complete bank account reconciliation according to investor guidelines•Ensure bank reconciliation exceptions are cleared timely, according to investor guidelines•Prepare audit responses as requested•Respond to client/Investor inquires quickly and appropriately•Perform all other projects as needed.

• Perform various administrative and clerical support duties.• Utilizing Excel, Risk Tech, Word, Outlook, Lotus Notes and Main Frame Systems• Complete various projects as needed

• Analyze complex claims for Reinsurance cessions• Utilize Excel, Access, mainframe and internal claim systems to ensure accurate reporting of ceded claims• Complete status updates and complex billings for Re-insurers• Investigate and respond to Re-insurers queries by working directly with the Claim Department, outside counsel and other internal resources• Negotiate complex disputed claim settlements with Re-insurers• Review Certificates of Reinsurance and issue billings for property and casualty Facultative claims• Train team members on Facultative and Treaty procedures• Assist in further developing our claim tracking system for Facultative and Treaty claims• Followed up on all uncollected balances• Completed various other projects as needed

• Timely and accurately reported quarterly and monthly billings to the Reinsurers/Brokers• Processed incoming and outgoing wire transfers on a daily basis• Applied cash to open invoices• Processed accurate and timely GL entries• Completed detailed account reconciliations• Assisted in audit reviews• Maintained Lotus Notes database and Excel spreadsheets for tracking invoice payments• Corresponded daily with internal and external contacts to reconcile issues• Maintained weekly Unidentified/Unapplied report showing all unapplied incoming cash receipts• Maintained various monthly reports utilizing Microsoft Excel• Completed various other projects as needed

• Promote Customer Service through front line client contact. Communicate with internal and external customers by answering questions and fielding all incoming telephone calls in an efficient, professional and courteous manner to ensure proper processing. • Initial contact with claimant. Obtain and input medical information for creation of cases. • Clearly communicate the interpretation of the FMLA and disability policies to all clients.• Interact with physicians, attorneys, specialists and various providers by answering questions and obtaining appropriate patient medical information needed to determine eligibility.• Determine eligibility of FMLA certification for clients within the law, utilizing consistency and objectivity. Review and apply State Disability Laws within scope of FMLA Administration. Appropriate tracking of the client's eligible time period toward FMLA offering.• Coordinate FMLA Administration with Short-term disability and Workers’ Compensation Administration.• Coordinate and facilitate client's return to work in a timely and efficient manner.• Coordinate communication between the client and the Human Resource Department to assure Benefit Continuation per employer policy.
