About Denise Evans
As the Director of Workers' Compensation Claims at Staffmark, I oversee the national claims operations for one of the largest staffing companies in the US. With over 33 years of experience in the field, I have developed and implemented effective strategies to reduce costs, improve processes, and increase customer satisfaction. I also leverage my expertise to provide consulting services and training programs to clients and partners across the country.In addition to my current role, I am actively involved in several industry associations and initiatives that aim to promote best practices, education, and advocacy for workers' compensation and risk management. I serve as the President of the Ohio Self-Insurers Association, the Conference Chair of the California Workers' Compensation & Risk Conference, and the Executive Council Board Member and Secretary of the National Council of Self-Insurers. I am also the Founder and President of Kids Chance of Ohio, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to children of injured workers. My passion and dedication to the workers' compensation field have earned me recognition and appointments from various stakeholders and authorities, including the Ohio Governor and the National Safety Council.
