This job has allowed me to learn a set of skills that is very vast, from DNA cloning to separation of long DNA strands to the development of a microscopic device that separates and sequences single cells- I was able to do it all. There are a great number of amazing projects that are occurring in Streets Lab and I am honored to be included in the majority of them by running experiments for data.

From tech to retail, they all have different necessities and desires, thus making me responsible for identifying the best possible solutions for them.- Develop and enhance strategies that result in the best possible outcomes for our clients. - Work as a liaison between vendors and client teams.

- As a student in the Management, Entrepreneurial, and Technology (MET) program, I decided to serve as an extra resource to potential incoming students. - From responding to students questions to going on coffee chats with them and showing them the campus, I really tried to give them insight on my experience and answer to the best of my ability any questions that they may have. I also redirected them to other folks who I thought they could really get more information from.

Lead and managed a team of seven consultants in developing a marketing playbook for a cloud-based software company. Served as the liaison between the client and the team of consultants, and was in charge of effectively communicating the changes in the scope of the project. On that same note, I had to ensure that our client was satisfied and updated on our progress, while also making sure that internally, the consultants knew the purpose of the project and their tasks. By effectively doing this, the team and I were able to identify gaps in the clients' marketing material and as a result were able to provide specific recommendations that focused on content restructuring, such success was possible after navigating 300+ files.

- Evaluated and gave a final recommendation on the benefits and viability of long-term Nuclear Thermal Propulsion (NTP). - Developed a market, risk, and SWOT analysis, which altogether helped me provide a recommendation regarding positioning, competencies, and mitigation of risks.

Saudi Arabia

I had the honor and privilege of being one out of the eleven-student cohort who got picked to participate in Berkeley's GLOBE Ambassadors program in Saudi Arabia. I was selected by the College of Engineering committee and was enabled to learn about the technology innovation among different industries in Saudi Arabia.- From learning some Arabic to learning more about Saudi Arabia's culture and beliefs, the GLOBE team helped me immerse myself in their culture. Through this opportunity, I learned the value and importance of shifting perspectives to understand the way other countries function, thus enabling me to gauge the impact that certain tech projects can have on the people and country.- After a couple of educational and immersive sessions, I had the opportunity of being in Saudi Arabia for a week. During this week, I had the opportunity to learn about different initiative projects, Saudi Arabia's history, future tech related goals and milestones that were planned, got to talk to alumni, and more importantly, learned about the ways in which I, as an engineer, could join a project in Saudi Arabia and create an impact.- From attending conferences to being interviewed by the U.S. Embassy, I felt honored through every stage of this program. The amount of knowledge I gained through such sessions was enhanced with the trip and I have gained and honed a set of skills that have prepared me to extend my impact of being an engineer outside of the United States.

- Responsible for the logistics of any-size events; from meetings to prodev events, I am in charge of making sure that rooms are booked, availability of active members, reassuring the obliging of university rules, and making sure everyone is aware of what's occurring every given week. - Attend weekly executive board meetings in which we discuss the current and future plans of the sorority. - I internally work with other members to make sure that everyone in the sorority feels included and welcomed!

ArrowDx is a fatty liver disease startup in which I am responsible for working on the marketing and investor outlook of the company. From working with the media folks to the CEO of the company, my primary focus is to promote ArrowDx to peers and let them know about what ArrowDx has to offer! From public speaking skills to utilizing social media outlets, I am excited to hone my skillsets and learn about the process in creating a business foundation for a start-up.

My research project consists of working with thermo-responsive soft magnetic materials for neuromodulation including magnetothermal, chemomagnetic and magnetomechanical neuromodulaiton. It has been a pleasure to be guided by Dr. Gabriela Romero Uribe and see the ways in which our lab research can be implemented to help the veterans, active duty, and civilians who suffer from traumatic brain injuries. Overall, this research has been an experience that has allowed me to see the power of bioengineering and research.

- Worked with small to medium sized, local, POC-owned companies who needed assessments and recommendations on how to overcome the impacts of COVID-19. - Some companies were at risk of being shut down, simply because COVID-19 made their business become stagnant, therefore, I had to become adaptable to working with different clients with different needs.

- Helped plan and coordinate the Regents' Overnight Host Program for early accepted, potential incoming Regents' scholars. -This program is usually in-person, but due to COVID-19, my team and I had to figure out the logistics and feasibility of doing such program virtually. Such program is usually weekend long, so there definitely was a lot of planning and figuring out that had to be done. - The programs we coordinated were a success and resulted us being on zoom usually for almost 24 hours per weekend.

• One of 90 incoming engineering students selected to participate in the Program• Designed and prototyped a mask that can help reduce the usage of single-use masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. This mask was designed to adjust to different needs for it and also was set up to collect data based on location, therefore helping collect data and see where there's spikes in COVID-19 cases. • Presented prototype to Biotech companies, representatives, and faculty

MOSTEC is a prestigious six month program, with an acceptance rate of about 3%. Students all around the nation are able to apply. I was one out of the four students who were selected from California to participate in the program. The program requires us to take intensive courses that are taught in a college style format. We were also allowed to select a project in the field of STEM that interested us, my project was based on Computational Biology and Genomics. As a team we worked on deciphering a mutation in the genome, and creating a presentation on our journey of utilizing genomic browsers. We then had to present our projects to MIT alumni, professors, faculty, and peers.

The application and interview process were designed to identify diamonds in the rough. After selection, students participate in an intensive two-day retreat that challenges students to expand their personal horizons, while at the same time teaching them the importance of team and community. The retreat includes team building activities and staged situations that will break up the groups that form.Students participate in full-day events centered on an industry or theme. Topics usually include law enforcement, military, aerospace, education, business and economics, quality of life and health and human services. Leaders in the topic fields work with students providing hands-on experiences and participation in community activities. Students are exposed to various careers while participating in community activities. Mentors from the community are found so students can "shadow" in their areas of particular interest. One of the early experiences for each YLLV group is to be taken to a team-building obstacle course, the Chumash Challenge.

I was selected to go and represent the city of Lompoc for my skills and interest in STEM. Tech Trek is an experience in which girls from different parts of California are taken to a university campus for a week and are required to work on projects and take courses. My project was related to remotely operated vehicles (ROV) and it required for my team and I to not only construct the vehicle from scratch, but to also showcase it functioning to our peers.
