I am a Certified International Tour Manager with an extensive background in sales/marketing and leadership, experience in culinary arts, group fitness and dance and Tour operation. This mix of skills, coupled with my travel experience, creates a perfect match for tour management.I will most benefit Tour Operators and Destination Management Groups who need leaders experienced with both international, and domestic guest, have professional skills, tour skills and strategic business development skills. Due to this broad range of experience, the delivery of customer service and value of retention, comes naturally to me. I am uniquely suited to programs geared toward; Wine/Food pairing, Hawaii, Sailing, Watersports, Australia, the US South, the Rocky Mountains, Women's, Seniors, British and Australian groups, or Faith based groups.Prior to 're-imagineering' my career, 20 years working in the IT industry solidified a analytical thought process that remains with me. Skills gained that are beneficial for the travel industry include: developing and leading tours with precision details, management of students/teams, developing and presenting presentations, sales and customer retention. I am able to identify ways to increase customer retention and expand customer base. Traveled extensively throughout the US and Canada for business, and have a unique appreciation for the different expectation of travelers when tourings vs. business travel. As an adventurer, I've traveled the US, as well as Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Caribbean, England, France, Italy, the Baltic region, The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. My goal as a tour manager is to ensure that the PAX experience the vacation of a lifetime and my company retains their clients for future bookings.
