Recruited to launch a Global Chief Development Office for this banking and financial services company. Designed and implemented a strategic change program to enhance software delivery across Group Technology and Operations (GTO) comprised of 8,000 software delivery staff and vendors including developers, analysts, testers, and operations personnel. Responsibilities included end to end Software Delivery Life Cycle, standards, procedures, assets, tools and metrics for software systems development and maintenance. Represented development community to drive operational excellence across the bank. Managed € 50M budget.✔ Collaborated with global Chief Information Office and Chief Information Security Offices to align integrated processes with enterprise/solution architecture, innovation, security, risk and compliance. ✔ Cultivated cross-disciplined teams to establish a secure development environment, launch SDLC release and governance process/platform, and implement regulatory and compliance standards. ✔ Managed more than 40 audit issues to successful closure by rationalizing disparate software development processes.
