Our goal is to ensure a 100% response rate for all general education complaints submitted to TEA. To achieve this, I developed streamlined systems that uphold compliance standards and enhance accountability. In collaboration with the Governance Team, I lead the Student Handbook Project, aligning campus policies with regulatory requirements and facilitating training for campus leaders to ensure consistent implementation. Additionally, I am working on the district’s charter renewal application to secure a 10-year extension.

Our goal was to ensure 100% of our Student Handbooks were board-approved and distributed by the first day of school. To achieve this, I partnered with national teams to align handbook content with federal and state regulations across four states, providing consistent, compliant guidance for students and families. Additionally, I created training for national, regional, and campus leaders, enhancing their capacity to implement handbook policies effectively and maintain regulatory compliance.

Our network goal is for 96% of students to graduate within 4 years. I established state specific resources, training, and data reporting structures to ensure national, regional, and campus leaders are on track and in compliance with local graduation requirements for Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and Ohio.

Our ultimate goal is for 100% of our seniors to matriculate to college and for 25% of those students to matriculate to selective universities. In order to reach these desired outcomes, as the Director of College Success for the Lower Rio Grade Valley region, I coach and support seven counseling teams through all college and financial related initiatives. I also manage development and implementation of our professional development trainings for 22 college counseling teams across three regions.

Developed a multi-year strategic plan to reach network goal of 70% college graduation rate for Uplift Education alumni. I supported six high school campuses to increase college persistence and graduation for over 1,200 alumni. I also collaborated with 10 universities to create and/or promote specialized events to increase college matriculate rates.

In order to reach the network goal of 100% college acceptance for all seniors, I contributed to short and long-term organizational planning for the college counseling department. I set and monitored performance goals for eight college counselors who served over 1,500 high school students and families from across the Dallas/Forth Worth area. In addition to this, I also built and maintained relationships with key stakeholders who are college and community partners to provide additional opportunities of access and support for students.

Our goal was to create and implement quality college trips at the network level for all 6th – 12th grade students. I developed and executed three in-state and four national college trips for 1,400+ students. I planned tailored events that focused on grade level needs and interests to strengthen the college going knowledge and identity for all students.

Out of 35,000 candidates, I was one of 4,100 selected to serve in a national service organization comprised of recent college graduates who commit service to closing the gap in education in under-resourced public schools. I created and implemented academic curriculum for four different subject areas across three different grade levels. I collaborated in teaching, planning, differentiated instruction and assignments based on data for self-contained class. I consistently tracked and analyzed data of 100+ students to present to parents, students, and administrators.

I introduced traditionally underrepresented, first generation and low-income prospective college students and their parents to the college admissions and scholarship application process. I conducted weekly meetings at three different high schools and help organize specialized events and activities to support students to matriculate to college.
