I have a range of relevant skills. My communication skills have greatly developed through my work experience at Walker Orthodontics, as a Realtor, and through earning my degree. During my courses I have not only written essays but frequently presented team projects, occasionally employing the use of visual aids. Many assignments involved small groups of four or more students working as a team to co-research and co-present a project. This taught me a great deal about working in a team as well as further practicing my communication skills. Additionally, I have developed a high level of IT skills: I have regularly used Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, social media sites, Quickbooks, and the Internet and I am comfortable in sourcing and handling data electronically. I have relocated to the Appleton area. I am currently working as an Accountant for a small business. I am excited about the transition to the Appleton area and the opportunities to follow.
