Throughout my career I have displayed the ability to lead and enhance operational processes of organizations within the hospitality, event planning, and fitness industries. My leadership skills, strong business acumen, and desire for continuous professional growth have made me succeed in each stage of career. The first half of my career primarily consisted of positions within the hospitality industry, which instilled in me a solid work ethic by working within highly-regulated and fast-paced work environments. My most notable experience during that portion of my career involved multiple positions held with the Ritz Carlton Company spanning more than eight years in Kansas City, MS and Naples, FL.In the mid-2000s, I leveraged my early career experience into launching DL Event Planning; held positions of business owner and event coordinator in Aspen, Colorado. Running day-to-day operations, I secured valuable experience in strategic business planning, client acquisition, and brand development.Searching for the next challenge in my career, I founded BURN Fitness Studio in 2013. I established a strong presence in the community and for many years have been considered an expert in the region concerning fitness/personal training and programming. I have been a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer since 2000 and I possess many more fitness certifications, which can be viewed below in my profile.In 2017, I was employed with Snowmass Club in Snowmass Village, CO, as Athletic Spa & Marketing Director. In only a short period of time, I was an immediate impact for the club in a multitude of ways. I significantly improved employee and membership retention through restructuring the workplace environment, implemented more inclusive programs, reduced operational costs, and discovered new sources to generate revenue. In 2022, I joined the Jaywalker Lodge team in Carbondale, CO as their Wellness Director. My approach to health and wellness is primarily focused on building a strong foundation for optimal growth and helping individuals unlock their full potential.
