BIO: DENISE PUGH MALO, DMCPDenise Malo, DMCP is Vice-President of Client Services for BBC Events, a Global DMC Partner, in New Orleans, LA. Denise has been a part of the BBC team for over 23 years, promoted to a Director in 2004, then Vice-President in 2021. However, she brings to the table over 30 years in the hospitality industry.A graduate from University of New Orleans, Denise is a past President of the International Live Events Association (ILEA) New Orleans Chapter, past Co-Chair of the Special Event TSE Starts Here event, past nominee for ADMEI Destination Management Professional of the Year, past Board member of ADMEI Certification & Accreditation Board, past Committee member of the Global DMC Partner Operational Excellence Committee, and past Board member of ADMEI serving as Director of Conference and Vice-President of Strategic Projects on the Board of the Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI). Currently, Denise serves as 2024-25 ADMEI International President.Her talents consist of (but certainly not limited to) event production, program development, event design, and logistical implementation. Yet her passion is in education; she thrives in educating the next generation of event producers to achieve their goals in excellence in the hospitality industry. Denise’s heightened skills in professional development, organization, attention to detail, and logistics management have earned her a reputation for unparalleled excellence as an event planner, all while doing so with a smile and creating contagious enthusiasm.
