We design and produce of all of our client and corporate marketing materials, compose internal and external corporate communications, establish and maintain social media engagement, plan corporate and community involvement events, coordinate trade shows and job fairs, and design conference presentations and event collateral. Hired to fill a brand new position with the company, I was gifted for the second time with the opportunity to jump right in, define a role, and make it thrive. It required me to be insanely self-motivated and a strong forward thinker right out of the gates. The Marketing & Communications Manager role is a fast-paced, dynamic, hands-on one that simultaneously sees me steer the ship and get down and dirty in the key tasks that drive the success of the department. I screen, hand select and manage my staff, establish priorities, work with analytics and perform reporting tasks. My graphics and writing skills stay sharp composing corporate communications pieces, designing marketing materials and creating employee engagement initiatives.
