My passion is assisting and helping people in my community. Through public affairs, non profits, and communication, I try to use these skills as I promote positive aspects in all settings. I've worked in crisis management with children at risk. I've launched campaigns that include Baby Safe Haven and Nat'l Adoption Day. My goal is to bring attention to causes that raise awareness, fund raising which can make a huge difference in someone's life. I find it fulfilling in working with my autism group, I recently worked with a family and helped to successfully move a child from public into a school for Autism. The Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors, not only helps people begin life again with visual burns, but includes burn survivors' families. I started a "Donna Marie poetry scholarship in my sister's name to help raise money for survivors to attend the annual World Burn Congress each year. I am a big sister to a wonderful girl, trying to find her way. We found each other when she was living in a resident group home, waiting to be placed with a foster family. After leaving DCF, I found it a mixed blessing. I had family matters which required all my attention. My sister Donna Marie was in failing heath. I was able to move her home and spend the rest of her days caring, and spending every moment with her until the end. . While I was dealing with family matters I needed some flexibility with income. I received my Real Estate license. I am currently working as a Realtor at Dwell360 Realty serving the greater Boston & metro area. As a life-time resident of Massachusetts, I have bought and sold properties for over 20 years. Serving the public and those who wish to buy, sell or rent. I am active in my community and those communities I serve. Using my public relations and marketing skills I constantly gain new clients from old contacts in my surrounding areas. I've worked with families who are looking for housing using a section 8 voucher.
