I was originally employed as Receptionist / Secretary, as the years progressed I was promoted to Office Manager and Accountant Technician to work directly and closely with the Financial Director.Duties : Accounts - Payable Company accounts - responsible for all purchase transactions - TAS Books 2Book Keeping -Purchase JournalPurchasing - office supplies, equipment, computer software & printersCross checking invoices to purchase ordersApproving invoices for payment Write up cheques for purchase invoices and process paymentManagement of supplies budgetAged Creditor ManagementAccounts - Receivable Company accounts - responsible for all sales transactions - TAS Books 2Raise sales invoices and statements on a monthly basisBook Keeping - Sales Journal & Payments Received Bank lodgementsCost Control Management by use of excel spreadsheetsProcessing staff timesheets on a monthly basis This role is wide ranged and deals with day to day running of a busy technical office, also requires good communication / people skills to liaise between staff and Company Associates / Directors and to assist clients with structural enquiries.
