Medical Staff Recruiter/Practice Liaison
CurrentDeveloped new programs for Saratoga Hospital. Served as Saratoga Hospital's first personnel recruiter (1988 - 1992); first physician recruiter (1988 - present); and first physician liaison (1994 - present.) As Medical Staff Recruiter, duties include marketing physician career opportunities, development of promotional recruitment materials including copy writing for newspaper, journal, on-line advertising and direct mail campaigns; candidate sourcing, screening, and reference checking. Organize and host physician candidate visits and follow-up. Physician Liaison responsibilities include relationship-building with physicians, other medical staff, and office support staff, marketing Saratoga Hospital's outpatient services including medical imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, cardiology and pulmonary service lines, urgent care and other services, to increase referral development and identification of barriers to utilizing hospital services. Communicate with service line directors and administration to improve operations. Developed annual sales plans for these programs. Exceptional team-work, collaboration with clinicians and communication with clinical service and operations directors is vital in this role. Plan provider orientations and onboarding activities including introduction of new physicians to community physician practices. Plan a National Doctor's Day celebration annually recognizing the dedication and commitment of the Saratoga Hospital Medical Staff.
