My experience as a Theater professional spans over 15 years in the industry, inclusive of Performer, Sound Designer, Audio Engineer, Directing, and Production Stage Management. I have had the privilege of designing and/or managing award winning productions, live events (inclusive of celebrities and political figures), as well as, international and national tours. Pre-pandemic, I served as one of two Resident Sound Engineers for the McCarter Theatre Center, in Princeton, New Jersey. During the pandemic, I have been able to transfer my skills and put them to use within the TV/Film industry as a Talent Manager, bringing a fresh perspective and eye to the various productions. My experience in the vast arenas of the Performing Arts industry, have allotted a myriad of best practices and processes. For over 5 years, I served as a Project Manager for the DC Department of Parks and Recreation, Performing Arts and Special Events division. In this role, I was responsible for logistical support, administrative tasks. arts programming, scheduling, supervision, and creative direction. I worked closely with the Program Director to execute all artistic initiatives to provide successful local and city-wide events. In addition to my experience as a Project Manager, I also served as Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Maryland Performing Arts Academy. Our mission was to ensure that all performing artists had a safe space to hone their craft and gain confidence in their abilities. In this role, I was responsible for artistic and technical direction, planning, development, financial management, and marketing. My passion lies in creating magic with a team who share the same goals with a “make it work” attitude to provide our clients or customers with quality programming. My work ethic is rooted in hard work, effective communication, resourcefulness and proactivity. I possess exceptional organizational skills, with an innate ability to creatively problem-solve and multitask. With the ability to work in an ever-evolving atmosphere, complete with adherence to deadlines and timelines, I am looking to transition into a "work from home" position, performing administrative tasks and remote duties. I am Windows/Mac OS proficient, inclusive of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Dropbox, and Zoom.
