Dis-aggregated and analyzed data, assessments, and student work for the purpose of measuring and improving student achievement and program effectiveness. Provided professional development, training, coaching, and individual support to teachers and educational assistants in the implementation of Best Practice instruction in literacy and math. Supervised a team of 20+ para-educators giving literacy small-group instruction within a multi-tiered system of support. Developed and organized an Arts and PE program for a 500-student elementary school which provided daily enrichment for all children.

Organized Summer School program for two sites in Jackson County SD #9. Designed and supervised Summer School program, including enrollment, registration, scheduling, food services, transportation, curriculum, and supervising teachers. Scheduled pre- and post-assessment to determine effectiveness of Summer School program.

General Education classroom teacher. Grades taught over 6 school years include: First Grade, Second Grade, First/Second Blend, Second/Third Blend, and Fourth.

Taught literacy and numeracy skills to Kindergarten students. Created a "Read-To-Me" program which brought community members into the classroom as guest readers in order to promote literacy.

2nd grade teacher. Developed lessons using Oregon Common Curriculum Goals as a framework. Used training from ITIP (Instructional Theory Into Practice) for designing lessons.
