Character As a general surgeon, I learned the value of life through the eyes of the underprivileged. I developed the ability to recreate myself every now and then through the years of training to fit a certain situation. Knowing that this field is a continuing education, I expect more years of training formally and informally. Looking up to my mentors who honed my character and skills, I am well aware that I have the responsibility to pass on their teachings and spread the acts of hope, humility, empathy and compassion.
