Denis Kovac is a versatile designer whose output encompasses a wide range of work, including visual identity, literature, art direction, digital and motion. His guiding principle, ‘to think more and design less’, informs his unique conceptual approach. He has an intuitive flair for curation and art direction and is best known for his pared-down, high-impact designs that communicate through their simplicity. As a founder of the successful studios ‘Bunch’ and ‘Lunch’, he has worked with diverse teams of creatives and collaborated with numerous artists and creative thinkers. His bespoke process, individually tailored to each client, and his commitment to finding responsible design solutions that contribute to positive change, have resulted in him receiving a variety of design commissions both in the large-scale commercial sector and for one-off smaller-scale projects for private clients.Denis has worked with a range of high-profile clients including Nike, Porsche Design, Diesel, Rolex, Red Bull, Sky, BBC, National Geographic and others, winning multiple awards and honours. He has also sat on several judging panels, and his work has been featured in many respected journals and books. Willing to travel, he is open to collaboration on both short or long term projects, on a commission basis or otherwise, and to sharing his creative qualities with other design studios.
