Running IDI's office and membership activities for over 10 years. Services to IDI included the management and co-ordination of annual IDI Awards, communication, marketing, management of talks and lectures, in-house training activities, various public events, sponsorship, management of IDI's finance etc.I worked on more than 30 different projects ranging from organisational membership support, web development, database management, marketing, PR and events of various scale.Acted as IDI's Company Secretary and the main IDI contact and co-ordinator for a wide range of stakeholders from IDI Council members, IDI directors, sponsors, IDI members, design graduates, third level colleges of design, design studios and design students etc.

Founded in 2010, it's a dynamic design and innovation hub for a wide range of creative and professional enterprises, including start-ups, entrepreneurs and freelancing design and marketing professionals.

This general role at IDI involved support, oversight, coordination and management of all aspects of a national professional membership organisation for 9-10 years. The contract involved:-Running IDI's office and all the relevant administrative functions.Support, involvement and coordination for various IDI public initiativesManagement and support for design competitions and some large scale events including design exhibitions, national awards events, training, public lectures etc.Main point of contact for all internal and external activities and initiatives. This range of work was in direct support to successive IDI Presidents, IDI Council over the period 2012 to 2016, and also for IDI board of directors from 2016 to 2021. This included roles in communication, web development, database management, marketing, financial control, management of design awards, event planning etc. These projects and events included IDI Awards, Graduate Awards competitions, exhibitions and gala prizegiving events.I also held a role of Company Secretary there from 2017 to 2021 and supported various IDI Presidents on a wide range of organisational issues from internal and external communication to strategy. - See above at Assure for more detail on my projects administration, management and coordination work for IDI.

Intranet: Responsible for originating, developing and the quality management and co-ordination of intranet content over 10 years.QA: Worked on web-based QA system from 2004 -2009 within the QA team.Databases: Responsible for originating and developing of the Staff Database, Archives etc.Records Management: Managed 10,000 project files on an internal database and developed procedures for management, retention and administration with external archive.Worked with other managers e.g. QA Manager, IT manager, Marketing Manager and others on various office-wide projects.Responsible for direct research and facilitating research through web and other online sources.Website: Central to the development of an extensive public website and suite of marketing materials with IT manager Webmaster and others.
