My mission is to make the business of law more human, effective and enjoyable. I'm doing my part by helping businesses turn difficult frustrating processes from pain to gain. I do this through simple first, design thinking and breaking convention. My current focus is contracts, because that's everyday pain for every business, large or small. As well as consulting in this space, I am building an alternative contract automation solution which re-invents how contracts look and work. This project is called Majoto (www.majoto.io) and with it I aim to bring a simple, accessible yet transformative solution to businesses - especially those who have no time or resources for legal tech. My background: business lawyer, innovator, obsessive creative, legal hacker. UK qualified, 20 years in law firms and Global250 in London and Milan. Expert in technology, open innovation, commercial transactions, intellectual property and contract effectiveness. I combine my legal, creative and tech skills with the unique attributes of a good in-house lawyer: practical, outcome-focussed, x-functional, owning the problem and asking questions first.Outside of work, I am a father to three amazing boys and avid pursuer of wind, snow and gravity sports.
