Joined HSBC Greece as Head of IT, managing a team of 14 people and reporting to the Europe International CIO and recently to HSBC Continental Europe CIO, with main responsibilities:• Merge and restructure the former Software Delivery and IT Operations departments into a single IT team, focusing on strong business cooperation and meeting customer needs• Support the bank’s regulatory needs and ensure full compliance to the heavy and rapidly changing regulatory framework• Drive the adoption of the new Group IT vision “Simpler, Better, Faster” and of Agile and Cloud technologies• Deliver annual Orderbook projects, both Group-led and locally initiated, to an efficient and successful outcome by utilizing IT resources from the whole HSBC GroupMain projects:• Implementation of IT systems to meet the local and European regulatory framework (Mifid II, PSD2, Anacredit, online Registry of Bank accounts, e-Seizures etc.) and business needs (Wealth platform, Factoring & Guarantees platform, new Financial Crime and Anti-Money Laundering systems etc.)• Preparation and Execution of Capital Controls runbook, when Greek government imposed them on 28/06/2015, and adherence to the changing legislation since then• Transfer of HSBC Greece bank from UK to becoming an HSBC France branch, as part of UK Ring Fence Bank Law, on 01/Jan/2018• Implementation of cost-saving initiatives with added technology benefits, such as migration of domestic network to MPLS, migration to VoIP and new messaging infrastructure and streamlining operations with automation and workflow toolsFinally, as part of the HSBC Greece exit and the full Sale to Pancreta Bank, I was the IT Workstream Delivery Lead for this project, directly managing the Central IT Delivery team of 16 people in addition to the local team with main objectives :• Extract all necessary data from local and Group applications to transfer them to Pancreta• Adapt existing HSBC applications to handle post-migration

In addition to my Head of IT Greece role, building on the experience during the transfer of HSBC Greece to France, I was appointed in May 2018 as Lead IT Delivery Program Manager for the branch transfer of 7 UK branches and 2 subsidiaries of Europe to HSBC France, as part of the wider Brexit program. Managing directly a core team of 9 persons in UK, Greece and Poland, I was responsible for:• Ensuring all countries were successfully transferred in 3 separate Releases between February and April 2019• Implementing changes in local application across these countries to meet the new legal entity needs• Overseeing the implementation of changes in all group systems, such as Digital channels, Risk and Finance, under a consistent plan and managing any interdependencies with external programs

Director of a €3m project to migrate the Core Banking System to the new version and the underlying infrastructure from Mainframe to UNIX. Head of dedicated project unit within the bank, reporting directly to CEO and COO. Key responsibilities include:• Building, organising and managing the project team (30 full-time and 35 part-time employees)• Responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling the project and managing the risks and issues• Management of the project budget and the external suppliers contract liaison• Stakeholder management through monthly Steering Committees• Setup the Change Management stream of the project • Organisation of the System and User Acceptance Tests (SAT/UAT) cycles, as well as global rehearsals• Responsible for infrastructure design, RFP evaluation and provider selection• Technical expertise on UNIX setup, automating batch flows and deployment processesFollowing the successful completion of the migration and the acquisition of Geniki Bank by the Piraeus Bank Group in Dec 2012, responsible for business critical IT system migration projects from Société Générale’s infrastructure, including the HR Management system and the SWIFT platform services.

Joined Geniki Bank as Deputy IT Director, shortly after its acquisition by the group Société Générale, with key responsibilities:• Organisational restructuring of the IT department (80 people)• Technical upgrade of all infrastructure components• Project portfolio monitoring and resource allocation• Management of the annual IT budget• Audit and Risk compliance to Group directives and national legislation• Head of IT Service Management unit, following an ITIL-oriented reorganisation in 2008Major technical project (with a total budget of over €5m) achievements include:• Upgrade and migration of WAN infrastructure to IP/MPLS backbone (1st Bank in Greece) and subsequent migration to an integrated VoIP WAN• Complete redesign and implementation of Disaster Recovery Site• Implementation and migration of the server infrastructure to a Windows 2003 Active Directory domain• Server consolidation and virtualisation based on SAN and VMware (ESX) technology• Implementation of a central CITRIX infrastructure for business applications• Implementation of internal .NET SOA middleware platform• Implementation of an integrated on-line e-banking site, based on SOA platform• Migration of ATM operations to eFunds (US) central systems• Implementation of an ERP solution covering Inventory, Budget and Accounts Payable areas

Deputy Head of Infrastructure, as well as Head of Network team and of System Team• Define KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and OLAs (Operational Level Agreements) as part of a project to migrate the data centre services to Paris and validate the migration plans and stages.• Launch cost cutting projects, including VideoConference over IP, Voice over IP, RAS (Remote Access Server) consolidation and multicast implementation.• Ensure the successful completion of the NAS implementation and migration project.• Define a London Backup strategy and migrate existing backups to a single architecture.• Standardise the UNIX and NT infrastructure (NIS, DNS, DHCP, DC, Print services).

• Project portfolio prioritisation and team reorganisation to cover support needs.• Coordinate, manage and deliver a series of high-profile network infrastructure projects, with a total budget of over €4m, to upgrade, standardise and rationalise the entire infrastructure, creating an integrated network with the Paris, New-York and Asia-Pac locations.• Redesigning, rationalising, standardising and securing the London firewall architecture.

• Relocation of all systems and desktops of Derivatives Trading Floor to a new building.• Implementation of a redundant, scalable and secure CISCO network for the above relocation.• EURO and Y2K preparation and rollover procedures.• Installation and configuration of several administration and configuration tools (including HP OpenView, an SMS text gateway and an Apache-based Intranet server), as well as an automatic UNIX & Network Inventory Tool linked to a Lotus Notes database.

• Internship in the UNIX team of the dedicated IT team of the Derivatives trading floor.• Migration of our TRIARCH backbone (Reuters Data Feed infrastructure) from SSL v3 to SSL v4.• Administration tools, including an intranet portal and a pager gateway.
