In 2013, when I assumed the position of Operational Director in Civil Defense in the municipality of Araruama, in the interior of the State of Rio de Janeiro, I discovered my real vocation and how to be able to make a difference in the society in which we live. Through civil defense, I realized that I can contribute to the transformation of my city, my state, my country, making them a better place, with more quality of life, aiming mainly at reducing the risk of disasters to which we are all exposed.In this area, a lot of discipline, study and love for others is required, at certain times you spend more time on the streets helping those who need help than at home with your family. And it is in this moment that we realize how much we can do to help others.Today I specialize in Civil Defense and Protection and that's why I founded the Civil Defense Portal, which is divided into two areas, the first, managed by my company, is the News Portal, and the second is the non-profit institution that aims to contribute to the construction of a solid, integrated and confident Civil Protection and Defense System, helping to the growth and development of a resilient nation that always seeks sustainable development.We also now launch Defenz.me a Global Podcast Hosting and Sharing Platform for Civil Defense and Disaster Risk Reduction that aims to create a community of professionals and listeners, whether they are technicians, researchers, students or society in general, who are interested in sharing and acquiring knowledge on the themes proposed by our platform and thus interact in a social network of disseminators of the doctrine of disaster risk reduction.
