Working within the PDI (Partner Development Infrastructure) team at SAP for Customer Experience Portfolio.Responsibilities Include:• Providing second level technical expert support to customers and partners to solve problems with SAP products using an incident management system.• Troubleshooting and analysing customer issues using web service technologies (SOAP, REST) and frontend and backend debugging using Chrome Developer Tools (JSON) the SAP internal computer languages (ABAP, ABSL) (Object Orientated Languages) respectively.• Coordinating with internal development teams to provide workarounds and fixes to complex SAP product issues.• Testing fixes and new features for SAP Products ensuring they can be rolled out on a continuous integration or hotfix basis.• Creating Knowledge Based Articles (KBAs) to give customers the opportunity to solve problems without direct contact thereby increasing efficiency.•Advising external developers on best practices and code consulting through customer incidents and the SAP Community network website.•Collaborating with a globally distributed team of Support Engineers.
