Cores taken from Gölbaşı and Azaplı lakes of Adıyaman, located in the East Anatolian Fault Zone (EAFZ), were studied. Paleoclimatic interpretations were made depending on factors such as saprofel and pollen amounts contained in the cores. Furthermore, the presence of seismic turbidite was examined by grain size analysis and some other analyses.
