A.Deniz ÖZBARLI is founder at Alpera Motors and Alpera Defense Systems. He has more than 25 years of research, product development, production and sales experiences in various businesses. Deniz holds the main responsibility for r&d, marketing, sales and operations at both parties.While Alpera Motors is focused on developing vehicles in the scope of common welfare philosophy to improve the lifestyle of humanity in urban mobility concept, Alpera Defense Systems aims to develop unmanned and autonomous systems to improve operational capabilities of armed forces and law enforcement authorities, to reduce error margin by decreasing human factors and to prevent or to reduce possible staff casualties. Both parties are located in Teknopark İstanbul which is a science and technology park being developed by the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce to contribute to Turkey’s technology development capacity for local and international entrepreneurs.Deniz pioneered to set-up a non-profit organization called ELAR (Electric Vehicle Manufacturers and Suppliers Association) to achieve national objectives in automotive industry in 2016. He is elected to be the president of ELAR in first general assembly. Also, he is member of the board at AVERE (EuropeanAssociation for Battery, Hybrid and Fuel Cell Vehicles).Previously, he developed Real-Time Distributed Cache Management Algorithm for low cost server solutions. He was responsible to lead bunch of electronic, mechanic and software design and production processes for both commercial and military equipments. He holds a Bachelor of Chemistry from the Bosphorus University, Turkey
