Dennis Arciniegas is a Computer Science & Information Systems Engineer from the University of Costa Rica, with a minor in Business Administration and a Master’s in Science in Human Capital Management (Summa Cum Laude). His professional experience is related first to Xerox Corporation and Apple Computer, also having had a successful run as entrepreneur with an Apple Certified Service & Training Center. During his 20-year run at SYKES, Dennis developed and implemented Human Capital initiatives that proved his ability to position the area as a strategic business partner for an organization. In his role, he led the selection process of key leaders within SYKES LATAM, including the heads of all five LATAM countries and HR heads. His role as Vice President of Human Capital & Communications came to an end as a result of the Company being acquired. Over the years, Dennis and his Teams created a series of strategies and initiatives that revolutionized the work environment for the Company's employees. Among others were the EPAP English Program, SYKES Academy, Networking Academy, the LEAP Career Path Program (winner of the I Am SYKES Award), the People-Centric Ecosystem, the LATAM Social Media Command Center, the SYKES Sustainability Program, the LATAM HRIS, and the Employee Value Proposition that the SYKES Corporation took global: “Work. Under his leadership, the LATAM Region achieved high Employee Satisfaction Scores for many consecutive years, reaching 82% in 2021.
