Being the 23rd employee at Prolexic, taught me a tremendous amount attack resiliency, operational efficiency, effectiveness and agility. Leading the day shift for 3 1/2 years gave me the opportunity to interface with the fast majority of our customer base. Dealing with customer service, configuration, attack detection and mitigation capabilities allowed me to build trust with our customer and our business owners.Being involved in post attack forensics for attribution purposes with high profile clients was also a lot of fun for me. Working closely with our RnD teams aka PLX-SERT helped bridge the operational gaps by providing better time to detect and time to mitigate performances. From these collaborations and efforts, Prolexic became the first industry provider to offer a "Time to Mitigate" SLA. This was the time it took to stop the attack. Most other providers only gave time to get engaged resources on a call.Developing and fine tune customer facing technical documents for sales and operational efforts, I started giving guided tours of our SOC when high profile clients wanted more deep dive details into our TTPS.I also developed new hire training programs for ease of on-boarding into our technology set.
