Government Billing Analyst
Current• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of customers and provide payment to vendors for services rendered to NYPA in accordance with negotiated contracts, policies, and procedures.• Updating transported price changes, analyzing, and loading interface files into SAP billing system, and performing corrections to errors in the Billing Interface Error Resolution Center (ICE).• Review data interfaced from various sources (S&S, EE&ED, IOU's, etc.) and used in the creation of customer invoices to check for accuracy and identify issues. Review Data from business intelligence(BI) reports for accuracy of reporting of customers billed and invoiced.• Analyze data, prepare regularly scheduled reports, and create specialized billing reports, analyses, and statements for management review. Review & analyze statistical reports analyzing data billed, data received, and data processed for individual customer grouping.• Analyze power generation data for individual customer group billing for accuracy and use monthly year-end reporting to the Department of Energy (DOE).
