L.F. George is a multi line medium to heavy duty equipment company providing sales, parts and services to companies working with above and below ground trenching, cabling and drilling equipment. As the parts manager I was brought in to re-organize the companies selling and buying of parts across three companies within the L.F. George family of companies. This is being accomplished through reorganizing of how the company buys stocks and sells products through its parent company. Using just in time inventory practices the buying of inventory has been decreased and the margins have increased by four percent on average over the past eight months.
