• Who are responsible and involved in product development, price evaluation, quality assurance , supplier mapping and supplier production improvement process( lean production, 6 sigma).having wide range of supplier contact and knowing the tooling market. Supporting Development and NPI teams across Business Units and geographies to ensure Time to Market, Time to Cost, and performance requirements;Ensuring support throughout products life cycle, find and explore materials, suppliers and manufacturing processes to support future products from initial design, to NPI and production ramp, through EOL; • Recommend tool steel material and material selections for IKEA of Sweden and Ikea supplier for toolmaking. Reviewing product design ,design for manufacture ,mold designing and approval of mold design for huge volume production moulds• Product and mold development: During product Development I assist IKEA of Sweden in making prototype, preparing tooling quotation for both plastic and metal, we did moldflow analysis before start up of a tool, communication and approval of gating location, cosmetic requirement and mold drawing.after startup I got normally weekly or bi-weekly report of mold progress report from toolmaker ,checked and asked questions to avoid any risks of mistake and delay in the process. When the mold is finished I checked on spot on FAI and gave comments and until the samples reached the quality demand I sent them to IOS for final approval. In the meantime I prepare package of product, labels, quality checklist and prepare for final inspection. I signed the master approval to supplier for mass production. • Drive supplier development on quality. Audit supplier quality system and give them certificate after approval by IKEA quality demand.In process development and improvement in the supplier chain.
