• Perform operational tests on computer equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment, software, and conventional instruments while applying knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systems. • Responsible for test planning documents, circuit and product diagrams, equipment manuals, and verbal and written instructions. • Set up and use standard methods and sequences to test and troubleshoot complex digital electronic subassemblies, slices and units by performing operations such as inspections, wire checks, components verifications and functional testing under various environment conditions. • Uses, interprets and critiques circuit and product drawings and test documents such as specifications and procedures. • Performs minor troubleshooting and repairing of test stations using standards methods or established procedures under the guidance of an engineer. • Assembly work may involve adjusting, trimming and fitting parts to moderately close tolerances, working with parts or components which are difficult to handle and other skills which require good dexterity and facility in the use of hand tools. • Load software onto systems. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest changes. • Follow procedures and diagrams in performing engineering change orders as required. • Document work performed on paperwork or in electronic database. • Primarily interfaces with quality, engineering, stockroom and shipping. • Provide general manufacturing support such as working with other technicians, engineers, assisting in preparing work instructions, data collection and inventory control as required.- 5S Team Leader
