I’ve been through many transitions in life, some really hard, some less hard. I started section hiking the Appalachian Trail many years ago with my wife looking for a different perspective on life and what it all means. Maybe figure it out just a bit. After having covered several hundred miles of foot powered reflection, a couple things stood out. First, there will always be a new mountain to climb, some short, others tall, but they always come along. Second, I understood the choices for the mountains ahead. I can either embrace the challenge or loathe the pain. Without the pain, there can be no gain.I wake up looking for mountains every single day and to serve others in some way.
