Day to day responsibilities include implementation of Cisco Nexus 7010 Switch’s and F5 Viprion load balancer’s for AT&T Allen Data Center. Completion of documentation and turn over to Network Operations. Implementation of Annue and Netscout probes for network monitoring and troubleshooting. Implementation of Alcatel-Lucent VPN Firewall Brick 1200.

Day to day responsibilities include Cisco router provisioning and installations in the US and Europe. This included connecting and troubleshooting enterprise edge routers to the Verizon MPLS network. I would turn up and troubleshoot new circuits with speeds ranging from 56K to OC12. I would provide third level support for the Verison Operations team which included working with Cisco hardware and Telco vendors in troubleshooting complex networking problems. I would consult with the end customers on their major network projects, upgrades and installations. I am experienced with Cisco 1700, 1800, 2600, 2800, 3600, 3700, 3800, 7200, and 7300 series routers.

Day to day responsibilities included the design and implementation of a 70 node Nortel Multi-Service Switch (Passport) backbone networks in Europe, Pacific Rim, Mexico, Brazil and India. I would work with remote network hardware and provisioning teams on the implementation of Cisco routers to the EDS - GM private Nortel Multi-Service Switch backbone network. I would provide third level support to Operations for the Nortel hardware and international telecommunication companies. I implemented an 8k to 24k compressed voice transport network for Europe, Brazil, and Mexico on the EDS - GM Nortel Multi-Service Switch backbone network. They would also have connections to the EDS – GM US voice networks through the Nortel Multi-Service Switch backbone network.

1994-2000Day to day responsibilities included design, operation and engineering of a compressed video network for EDS and GM. Working with remote hardware teams I would provision Teleos I-Mux and ISDN circuits for use with PictureTel and Polycom room systems. I would install, operate and troubleshoot PictureTel M8000 and Lucent multiport video conferencing bridges.19889 - 1994Day to day responsibilities include the operation and installation of a Nortel SL 100 XT PBX switch with 3 remote switches in the GM Saturn head quarters and manufacturing buildings. I would provide 1st and 2nd level support that included moves, adds, changes, and troubleshooting. I also provided special event support for the GM annual stockholders meeting in Nashville TN and the 1st Saturn owners festival in Spring Hill TN.1985-1989Day to day activities included the installation of IBM and Amdahl Front End Processors for the EDS / GM Networks.
