Current• Led and managed the research, design and implementation of new production lines and modifications to existing processes. This included a total facility remodel and expansion as well as the transfer of production from one facility to the remodeled facility.• Responsible for vendor selection and direction for multiple projects, General Contractors, Electrical, System Integrators, Panel Manufacturers, Piping, Drains, HVAC, Ammonia Refrigeration, Packaging equipment, Production equipment, tanks and vessels, etc.• Participated in the design and implementation of many automated production systems, including 4 complete facility design/build projects.• Involved in multiple new product initiatives which resulted in increased sales and market share.• Laid out and implemented Corporate Control and Information System philosophies.• Developed and implemented Corporate Electrical and Control standards.• Designed and implemented Control and Information system master plans for all plants.• Worked with upper level management to determine scope and feasibility for corporate capital projects.• Designed, installed and supported multiple plant Control WANs and LANs• Designed, installed and supported plant's automated data collection for Management Information Systems• Managed the building, mechanical, utilities, electrical and controls portions of corporate capital projects. This included Clean In Place (CIP) systems, HTST Pasteurizers, Cheese make systems, Brining Systems, Packaging Systems and Warehouse Management Systems that tied into Logistics for the company's distribution.• Lead projects implementing robotic solutions to packaging and palletizing activities.• Trained company personnel to support new technology and systems.• Supervised both Company and Consultant Engineers as well as all construction trades.• Interfaced with Federal and State regulatory groups (WDATCP, USDA, 3A, IMS, DNR) to gain approvals as required for new processes/plants.
