- Responsible for the seasonal development and bulk inspection arrangements for one major US sportswear retailer client for apparel products 80% of which is knitwear and 20% of woven garments.- Cost and develop seasonal development according to the range plan and the garment specifications.- Attend seasonal buying meeting, negotiating the price, leadtime and design details.- Work with the client's social compliance team for manufacturing plant EHS accediation. Pre-audit the workshop general facilities, worker insurance coverage, fire extinguish equipments and CCTV network.- Bulk timeframe management, so the QC team of the client can arrange inline & final inspections on time.- Work with internal quality team for sample QA & bulk QC issues.- Work with the document clerk to issue clearance documents on time.- Managing the team of 2 members.

◇ Team Management and Development: Timely check WIP and discuss solutions to issues. Analyze and review supplier base and their periodic KPI, team performance and market trends. Improve process and roles/responsibility of the team. Plan, assess and offer training to team member career development. Identify and develop the team core value. Enhance team affinity.◇ Project Management: Involve projects like corporate uniform tenders, sourcing cost saving, supplier base rationalization, development process improvement, LEAN. Initiate projects, own flight plans and catchup meetings, cross-function cooperation to complete the project. Assessing the effect of projects.◇ Cross-nation & cross-function cooperation: Work with oversea teams of design, operation and demand planning, complete development of ranges based on timeframes.◇ Internal cooperation: Work internally with quality control, social compliance, and fabric technique teams, handling issues like bulk quality and technique, vendor audit and fabric technique, to achieve good DIFOT grading.◇ Vendor Development & Assessment: Development potential vendors in various channels. Visit and assess factories by employees, production lines and facilities. Accumulate and recommend vendors. Escort buying trips. Preview factory load to place workable volume of orders. Assess KPI of vendor performance for the future plans.
