Perform SSPC-QP5 certification inspections for various military bases (NAVFAC, Air Force, Army, Marines, National Guard, etc.) for the DOD and USACE. Primarily using skills related to NACE Level 3 and 1534-Section 09 97 13.27, 1534-Section 09 97.13.16 specifications. Projects include but are not limited to the following: Wright Patterson AFB (lead abatement), NAS Mayport, McConnell AFB, DFSP Craney Island, VA, Shaw AFB, DFSP Charleston, SC, MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, Naval Base-Guam and Keesler AFB Biloxi, MS. Military coating systems include Sherwin Williams Epoxy-Polyamide Formula 159 Type III, Epoxy-Polyamide Formula 152 Type IV, Type II Polyurethane, Epoxy-polyamide Formula 150, High Solids Polyurethane. Project types include above ground jet fuel storage tanks, piping, and above ground water storage towers.

Oversee ISO and government/military audits while ensuring federal state and local regulations were met. Projects included omni directional vehicles, Fuel Injection Skids, armor plating, and various springs for military vehicles. Assisted in achieving the ISO 9001 certification for Hammonds Technical Services. Audited quality systems and production capabilities each day. All coatings performed to NACE, SSPC, ASTM standards as well as customer specific specifications. Completed daily quality and production reports for client review.

Carson, Ca

Ensured projected welding goals and deadlines were met. Supervised the daily activities of the welding crews to maintain that all AWS, ASTM standards and client specifications were achieved. Recorded daily logs for production, quality, safety, and accounting. Communicated all findings to the client as well as all Brinderson managers.

Westlake, La

Supervised coating crews at all plant sites and insured all safety was held to OSHA standards. Prepared employee timesheets and scheduling. Performed job walk downs each morning checking all equipment for safety precautions prior to start of each work day. Maintained production logs of all jobs during the application process. Inspected all work for conformance to customer specifications.

Started as an applicator and abrasive blast cleaned all surfaces to an SSPC SP-10/NACE No.2 Near White Metal Blast Clean using silica sand. Applied coatings using both conventional and airless spray methods while conforming to SSPC Standards. Promoted to foreman and maintained production and quality standards for all of the coating application.

Gulfport, Ms

Stationed at Construction Battalion bases, including NAS Gulfport, NAS Diego Garcia, NAS Guam, and NAS Rota, Spain. Projects included work on above-ground storage tanks and piping working as a fabricator/coatings applicator and pencil pusher. Other various construction projects completed while stationed included but are not limited to concrete pouring, framing, and other general construction work.Honorable Discharge
