In my role as Programme Executive I was appointed to take on an Interim role as Operations Director for out business in Scotland - Dunfermline and Newcastle. I did commute from Norway during that very interesting period.

I was employed by the Rolls-Royce Marine head office and work to improve sites across the entire Rolls-Royce Marine. My main focus was to support the sites improving quality, cost and delivery by working with all levels from operator to top management. Key achievements in this role: Together with my manager we started up and developed the Rolls-Royce Marine Improvement Team. In this role as business developer for Westinghouse Electric Sweden I was part of a team that was working to implement and establish "Westinghouse Manufacturing System" on the site in Västerås, Sweden. My main responsibility as a Process Owner was to establish and maintain the processes for Equipment Reliability. Every process owner had to know all areas in WMS and work very closely with each other beacuse all processes overlapped in one way or another.

In this role I had overall responsibility for monitoring investment projects, eighty projects going on simultaneously, and its budget of more than 20 million USD a year.
