My challenge was to help transform Linx’s businesses beyond the core POS/ERP for retail. I was responsible for entering into new addressable markets, through the creation of 2 Business Units: Linx Pay Hub and Linx Impulse Suite. Linx Pay Hub is a fintech which operates in acquiring, sub acquiring, anticipation of credit card receivables, TEF and management apps for small retailers, through a JV with Rede/Itaú. Linx Impulse Suite is a BU focused in improving the sales and profitability performance of retailers. It combines 4 acquired companies (Chaordic, Neemu, Shopback and Percycle), along with internally developed solutions, covering the entire online and offline consumer experience. Building a talented team, in the first year of operation the BU reached easily surpassed all its financial and operational targets.

As CFO and IRO, responsible for the IPO in 2013, which reopened the Brazilian market. Linx´s IPO was the first to be priced at the top of the range since 2008, had a book coverage ratio of more than 20 times and the stock price rose 18% in the first day of trading. Since then, the stock has risen more than 120%. Linx currently has one of the highest Revenue, Ebitda and P/E multiples in the Brazilian market (more than 5x its revenues, 20x its Ebitda and 30x its net income);In 2016, responsible for Linx´s follow-on, which raised R$ 444 million. In an unusual situation, the stock increased more than 17% during the bookbuilding process, which had a book coverage of more than 10 times; Responsible for a private placement in 2011, with BNDESPar and NY based private equity firm General Atlantic, which raised R$ 165 million;Responsible for raising more than R$ 200 million in debt from BNDES, with an average cost of TJLP (long term interest rate) + 1,5% per year and advantageous amortization schedule;Between 2011 and 2018, responsible for designing and executing Linx´s M&A strategy, which delivered more than 20 acquisitions, with a total cash commitment of almost R$ 1 billion.
