Traditionally, large amounts of data from mobile devices are sent back to huge server farms for processing decisions for inventory purchases and ad selection, and an ad is streamed back to the device for play… very expensive, very inefficient, not user friendly. Our approach is to utilize the mobile device to make the majority of the decisions, “the mobile device is the server.” Highly targeted ads are intelligently cached on the device at the least disruptive time for the user and played back at the most appropriate time for the user. Our initial product offering includes a truly hi-def video ad unit that plays without any need for buffering, and can even play when the device is off-line, enabling branders to connect with their target audiences and publishers to monetize their properties regardless of the availability of bandwidth and connection speed.Advertisers are slow to invest in mobile video ads for fear of damaging their brands with low resolution video ads. Mobile publishers are reticent to use video advertising to monetize their properties and applications as they do not want to negatively affect their users’ experience with low quality ads and delays required for buffering. Our revolutionary approach will help accelerate the transition of billions of off-line ad dollars to the mobile platform.We are in the early stage of product development with working prototypes of several aspects of our technology.
