I founded Great White Wax as a small music production company in 2008, and operated a recording and production studio in Midtown Manhattan for several years. Referencing "The Great White Way" as a nickname for New York City's Broadway theatre district, and "wax" as a slang term for vinyl records, I chose this name for the company because most of my clients came from the NY theatrical community, which I was also a part of as a professional musician and stage actor.In addition to the countless demos, small projects, voice-overs, etc. that I engineered, I have also produced or co-produced fifteen commercial albums, and released seven of them on Great White Wax as a distribution label.Beyond business operations and music production, I also perform the following key financial duties:● Establish and manage a general ledger in Quickbooks, perform all bookkeeping duties, and provide financial reporting to external accountant for tax preparation.● Manage use of invested funds and lines of credit to ensure continuous business operations.● Obtain mechanical licenses as needed from the Harry Fox Association, and calculate and report quarterly mechanical license fees to HFA.● Source monthly gross revenue reporting from distribution partner, Tunecore, and provide Great White Wax label clients with quarterly music royalty reporting and payments.

I continued my previous role as global e-billing program manager and owner of legal fee reporting and analysis ($500 million annual expense across 700 law firms).Accomplishments include:● Met $2 million (4%) cost reduction target.● Designed a legal expense reporting database in SAP Business Objects, providing senior management with key metrics for outside counsel rate negotiations, preferred vendor selection and cost savings initiatives.

I implemented and maintained TyMetrix T360 legal e-billing and matter management system in partnership with internal legal, technology, and financial operations teams. I drafted requirements, managed customizations and releases, performed UAT, led system training, oversaw onboarding of 225 law firms, managed our relationship with the TyMetrix/Wolters Kluwer team, and supervised a global team of four staff that provided support to 600 internal TyMetrix users.Accomplishments include:● Converted 14,000 paper invoices per year to electronic format, reducing payment turnaround from 60 to 30 days, and earning $2.4 million in prompt pay discounts.● Resolved VAT issues, leading Credit Suisse to be the first financial services firm to implement e-Billing in the UK.● Earned General Counsel Award for Challenge & Control for cost savings and process controls achieved.
