Experienced researcher with 18 research article publications, currently a Research Associate at UNC Chapel HIll. I have been working in the field of behavioral neuroscience for 18 years, using animal models to study topics ranging from maternal behavior, programming effects of neuroinflammation and stress in adolescence, to the role of interoception in alcohol use disorder. Across my career I am proud to have participated in dozens of collaborative projects both with colleagues and with pharmaceutical industry partners, and to have been an active mentor for many undergraduate students who have gone on to begin impressive careers.
