As processor of scrap Titanium for use by steel and specialty alloy manufacturers, Global melted, cleaned and refined over 45 million pounds of Titanium scrap per year. As Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, I was responsible for all financial aspects of the organization, reporting directly to the President/Owner. Working as the CFO I was able provide a hands-on approach to all the financial aspects of the company, but also was responsible for IT, Human Resources, and the general office area. While at Global I was successful in starting a new company designed to make parts through a metal injection molding (MIM) process out of Titanium powder. This start up, also knows as AmeriTi Parts, included the purchase of manufacturing facilities, the purchase of capital equipment, securing bank financing, as well as all the legal and risk management aspects of a new company. Some additional accomplishments include:• Successful installation of both the Plex ERP system and the Epicor ERP system. • Streamlining the monthly close process for financial statements and reports. • Negotiated and refinanced existing bank loans and lines of credits, saving $100,000 per year. • Challenged property tax assessments and classifications, successfully reducing the annual expense by 35%.• Worked with HR to reduce employee union issues, reviewed and purchased employee benefit plans saving over $300,000 per year. Restructured 401K plans to meet current regulatory compliance. Improved Pension plan investment performance and monitoring. • Worked with external auditors to successfully convert annual reviewed financials to fully audited reports.

Atlas Copco Assembly Systems global organization include the North American group as well as similar organizations in China, Brazil, India and Germany. In 2008 the five locations were consolidated into one global entity with combined sales of $200M USD. As the Global Business Controller, I reviewed and developed consistent financial and management reporting packages, allowing for accurate consolidated reporting of the global operations. Established cross functional teams to develop global standards for purchasing, engineering, and project management. Created consistent measurements for project proposal, purchasing and financial KPI’s. Some accomplishments: • Established new product lines through internal development. First year sales surpassed 100 units or a 12% increase to the global sales, at a margin higher than our existing product line.• Worked on three mergers and acquisitions, with a value of over $100m. Successfully coordinated the integration of the largest acquisition, including personnel, sales, and skilled trades. Strengthened our existing operations and expanding our product line base to include new products and services. • Expanded Strategic Planning process to all locations. Plans included long term financial forecasting, product development, marketing programs, and cost control and consolidation. • Lead Project Manager for 250,000 SQFT - new manufacturing facility for the North American operations. Increasing our capacity by 100%. Additionally, integrated a recent global acquisition into the facility.

Atlas Copco Assembly Systems produces complex industrial engineered fastening systems for use in manufacturing primarily for mass production assembly lines. The products were custom designed and built primarily at our Auburn Hills location for the North American market. As the Business Controller I managed all the financial aspects of the organization. This included extensive financial planning and analysis, both short and long term strategic planning, managing capital expenditure plans, all financial reporting for US GAAP requirements, as well as IFRS compliant reporting. The projects were quoted using a standard costing system that included labor, material, production, and currency variances. Each project was sold as quoted requiring strong tools to monitor and understand the current financial result as the project progressed from design to manufacture, to testing and installation. Some accomplishments:• Complete overhaul of the existing ERP system and process for accounting for projects. Improved the reliability and accuracy allowing for accurate and trusted reporting of project results. • Developed advanced Excel VBA programs that increased the accuracy and improved the efficiency of the project proposal process. Resulted in increased profitability by accurately understanding project requirements and costs. • Implemented strategic planning process within the organization. Resulted in successful handling of 4 years of significant growth, from $16 million to $55 million in sales. • Worked with senior management to improve standard costing processes allowing for expansion of business lines, improving sales, profitability for both the sales organization as well as the assembly side.

Dexter Fastener Technologies or Dextech is a joint venture between Saga Tekkohsho and Ring Screw Works. Producing over 50 million critical fasteners per month for Ford Motor, Honda, Toyota and Nissan. With annual sales of $76M USD Dextech produced fasteners for engine, brakes and suspension systems. As Treasurer, I managed all financial aspects of the company, including monthly reporting, annual audit reports, balance sheet reconciliations, financial planning and analysis, banking relationships and investments, as well as inventory and cost accounting functions. Some accomplishments include:• Detailed cost analysis and format for determining standard costs for each operation within the plant. • Investment program for excess cash balances resulting in over $200,000 in interest income. • Worked with the city of Dexter for a plant expansion and tax reduction savings. • Negotiated supplier price reductions with a savings of $300,000 annually
