I first joined the Dallas Small Business Development Center (SBDC) as a Business Advisor in 2013 and was re-hired in December 2015. My entrepreneurial experience includes founder and President of a technology consulting company. I later worked as an independent business consultant where I was engaged by companies, including Hills Pet Nutrition, Xerox, and Sprint, to provide process improvement and project management services.I have also been retained by several small businesses to provide consulting on sales and financial management. In addition, I have successfully worked with companies on federal and state procurement opportunities, as well as 8(a), and diversity supplier certifications.In addition to business consulting, my career includes working in the financial services industry as a licensed Financial Advisor. Academically, I have two advanced degrees - an MBA and Master of Management in Personal Finance both from the University of Dallas. My undergraduate degree is in Economics from Southern Methodist University.
