Watch chief reporting to the chief electrician and chief engineer.Implementing short and long term maintenance, projects and watch duties.Maintaining automated maintenance system, DP (dynamic posistioning) duties, trouble shooting.Supervising of projects, subcontractors and specialists.Analyze, calculate, budget controling and providing input for upgrades and extensions of all ship, pipelay and project related equipment.Testing and maintaining a broad spectrum of safety devices from fully automated fire and damage control to load moment indication on the largest (and strongest) cranes in the world, including FMEA, FAT and SAT.Involved in the preperations for construction projects such as gravity based offshore platforms up to 11.000 shT of topsides (Ringhorn, Snorre, Kizomba A, upending SPAR's (mad dog, Holstein, Mooring line deployment, shallow and deepwater piledriving up to 3000Kn or 500Kn in 2000 mtr water depth with Menck and IHC hydraulic hammers.Deepwater pipe lay (j-lay) pipe in pipe, risers and inline structures (Thunderhorse, Perdido) extending structures on FPSO's (Schiehallion, Chinook-Cascade,)including temporary power plants, welding and preheat activities.Trained in Siemens automation (S5, S7, Simoreg, Simovert, Master drives and Sinamics), ABB megastar, ACS6000, ACS800 and high voltage switchgear&protection devices.Kongsberg ADP systems (all generations) DP32, K-pos, K-chief, C-joy, DGPS, Hipap, fanbeam, radius and related equipment.Stipel high voltage (end responsible HV installations) Ku and C-band sattelite communcation systems.HP proliant server systems, Cisco industrial routers, autocad systems, microsoft office and server.Allround experience from 6 years in the onshore chemical,oil and gas industry (Caldic, BP, Nerefco) to ship conversions at shipyards (Bluewater FPSO, J-lay conversion Saipem 7000) and many international projects for a wide range of clients.
