The main responsibilities and expertise areas are:- Marine site conditions assessment including the evaluation of Metocean conditions for Normal, Extreme and Severe conditions for: Water levels, Currents, Waves, Seawater properties, and Ice conditions.- Performing and reviewing sea ice condition assessments- Developing of in-house metocean tools to enable greater accuracy- PYTHON programming to drive automation and tool development- Performing advanced statistical analyses of metocean data- Quality check and/or approve the work delivered by others- Running and understanding of numerical metocean models and the interpretation of numerical modelling datasets- Sediment spill modelling studies

The master thesis was performed in collaboration with Van Oord. The main objective was to investigate the performance of two numerical wave models for port design. It gave me experience with presenting results, making independent decisions and directing research towards industry demands.
