The Community Accountant is responsible for all aspects of monthly financial reporting for a designated group of Benchmark owned/managed communities. This responsibility includes timely preparation of draft and final monthly financial packages, maintaining accurate, detailed work papers for all balance sheet accounts, coordinating and communicating financial information to community personnel (Executive Directors, Regional Operators & Directors of Business Administration), and reporting accurate monthly revenues and expenses. Additionally, the Community Accountant is responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the consolidated financial statement and providing assistance and guidance to the Senior Community Accountants.
