I have been the Manager for the A/R Cash, A/R Contract Liability, A/R Wholesale and Entertainment and now the A/R Convention teams. We own end to end A/R processes for our 70M aging: Convention audit and invoicing; Convention group commissions; 3rd party wholesale room invoicing; 3rd party entertainment broker invoicing; A/R and Hotel payment processing; Travel Agent commission payments; Front Desk skip accounts; Month End journal uploads; A/R Collections; Month End Allowance for Doubtful Accounts; Month End Balance Sheet analysis reporting. We facilitate monthly/quarterly aging meetings with Convention, Hotel and Entertainment sales teams.

Supervise staff of accountants processing: desktop and cage check deposits, wire transfers, GL distribution of sourcing checks, 3rd party collection, travel agent commissions, wedding chapel, day end audit, advance deposits, guest ledger balances and refunds for checked out guests, and City Ledger processing via month end clearing. I manage the month end AR property upload process for 22 properties via 30+ journal entries and accruals, Atlantic City gaming vendor reports along with communicating to 24+ property finance and corporate accounting departments which are impacted by A/R.Currently I have been appointed as an Oracle Champion trainer as we convert our GL infrastructure enterprise wide and am preparing for a GBS certification for Shared Services.

Box Office Broker A/R Senior Accountant. I supervise a staff of accountants and we invoice Brokers for show ticket sales via Ticketmaster and High Roller tickets via Accesso. We create invoices, process payments, adjustments, and meet aging requirements. I audit source documents via Box Office Audit and analyze variances. I host weekly aging meetings with the Entertainment Division and discuss one off issues, contract payment variances to revenue recognition and Credit/LOC limits. Month End responsibilities include: Credit Re-Class journal entry, Bad Debt Reserve analysis, Aging verification and posting of staff accountant journal entry uploads of property A/R entries.

City Ledger: Check deposit posting, cage audits and month end journal entries. Hotel Credit: credit analysis, facilitate event deposit and pre-event communication with clients for multiple properties. Food & Beverage: Audit multiple property outlets for revenue recognition and fruad, SOX compliance for department.
