Vihara Foundation www.viharafoundation.org – Founder and Lead Scientist. The VF aims to make a change in the way poverty and climate change impact is addressed globally, by creating and delivering—which it is currently doing—practical models that can affect change to the people on the ground and on the environment. Thus far, VF has mobilized farmers in the District of Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, India (a targeted range of 5oo sqkm) to embrace development strategies that will steer them to greater and sustainable production and revenue, with improvements in quality of life and environment (directly attributed to poverty alleviation), and with positive benefits from climate mitigation.The Vihara Foundation model is deemed one of the most promising development proposals to help farmers empower themselves, according to senior consultant to the World Bank. Currently, the Vihara model is being adopted into Trinidad and Tobago (for expansion into Caribbean, Latin, and South America) under the recently commissioned Confederation of Farmers Association of Trinidad and Tobago. In an innovative move to seed deep sustainability thinking and strategic implementation of sustainable measures ahead of government mandates and sustainability shortcomings, and to get these innovative strategies recognized and appreciated by the international community for addressing climate change and poverty alleviation, Ramdahin co-founded and commissioned the Caribbean's first Green Political Party - The YOUTH, ORGNIZATIONS, UNIFICATION, and REFORMATION Party of Trinidad & Tobago. The party will focus on creating 100,000 sustainable jobs through aggressive sustainable investments in agriculture and natural farming (zero chemicals), eco-tourisms, building sector greening and energy efficiency, renewable energy investments, transportation efficiency, carbon sequestration and carbon monetization, ocean protection and biodiversity preservation, and much more.

US Air Force Model Energy Base Initiative (MEBI).Contributed as Sustainability Lead Research on the Secretary of the US Air Force (SAF-Pentagon) commissioned MEBI initiative. The objective of this exercise was to achieve sustainable design possibilities for a green modeled military base that would be able to be replicated globally. This work was aimed to serve AF facilities operations globally for reducing bases' high energy operation costs and carbon footprint. This work constituted specific research and publication which contributed to US Dept of Defense Green Building Committee, steered by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), then chaired by Dr. Get Moy (Ret).This work was presented as Keynote at the 2008 International Sustainability Conference, Teleganu, Malaysia.
